Project: De-risking recovered resource value chains for supply chain performance management

This project is aims to understand the effect of recovered resources and recycled content as a constituent material in manufacturing a product, in terms of its effects on its supply chain performance. Taking the value chain of manufacturing upcycled concrete using of recycled concrete aggregate as a constituent material as a case study, the project models and analyses how supply chain key performance indicators are affected, their triggers and the extent of risk that it poses on delivering the product adhering to expected service levels.

The project informs the interventions needed to manage the supply chain within expected performance levels, in using recycled materials in an upcycled product.
