Allowing Comparison… and Enabling Decisions

I study and develop methods to compare and measure different alternatives. I also perform evaluations to enable business and policy decision making.

Project: Use of recycled concrete aggregate in structural applications – An integrated evaluation for policy decision making

This project aimed to facilitate policy decision making on the use of recycled concrete aggregate replacing its traditional alternative – natural coarse aggregate by providing a multi-criteria evaluation tool to offer a representative decision. The methodology adopted is considered comprehensive and systematic and can be used to evaluate a sustainable material, technology or industry practice, especially to compare potential waste-derived products at design stage.
